HANOVER, GERMANY (November 10, 2019) – Cummins new structural 4-cylinder engine will debut at Agritechnica 2019 in Hanover, Germany. The new engine is available with 3.8 litre (F3.8) and 4.5 litre (F4.5) displacements, complementing the 6-cylinder B6.7 structural launched at the previous Agritechnica. Visitors will see the new arrival on stand D19, in hall 16 in Hanover Messe.

Innovative Architecture Ready to Redefine Power Efficiency for Euro VI Phase-D

BRUSSELS, Belgium (Oct.17, 2019) — Today at the Busworld Europe show Cummins introduced the X12 engine with up to 480 hp (360 kW) output for powering full size touring and intercity coaches. Certified to the stringent Phase-D stage of Euro VI regulations, the X12 incorporates innovative architecture and a highly efficient in-cylinder combustion formula eliminating the need for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR).

This leap forward in clean, natural gas engine technology leads the way for high passenger capacity 12-to-18 metre buses to help improve air quality and lower the carbon footprint of fleets.
